How to get to Camden Market – Things You Need To Know Before You Visit

What is Camden Market?

Camden Market, sometimes called Camden Lock Market or Stables Market, is an iconic shopping district in London filled with handmade crafts, independent alternative fashion, and so much more. It’s also home to some amazing street food, so be sure to pack your appetite!

Get ready for busy crowds every day of the week. There are often long lines at popular sellers because of the market’s high demand. If you’re a night owl, this is perfect for you—Camden Market is open from 10am until late every day of the week!

Camden Market also attracts large numbers of visitors from outside London, since it has become somewhat ‘immortalised’ in popular culture due to its unique atmosphere and history.

Pro Tip: If you want to get the most out of your visit (and maybe discover some hidden gems you’d otherwise miss), consider joining The Great Camden Experience. This small-group walking tour is a brilliant way to explore Camden’s music history, street art, and alternative culture with a local guide who really knows the area.
